I write the future and I write the past
Things to come and things that didn’t last.
I write now and for the moment only
Things come alive I don’t feel so lonely.

It is my pen that can bring me back to life
When I forgot my name inside of a beehive
I do not want to write rather call it a night
But its dark nothing’s bright and I need light

I got a friend it’s my pen he can bring me back again
He always understand what I alone can’t comprehend
So I write about me and you what we do what is true
My heart gets lighter I know who I am and what I’ll do.

Sometimes it is all dark he holds my hand like a friend
Mumbles and chuckles I see a shark thinks it’s the end.
Oh jitters it glitters in a split second he decipher all fear
I remember I’ll never abandon you from now on I’m near.
